 The X-Conference has a special arrangement with two nearby hotels for a discount off their Internet rate.   The number of rooms available is limited so book early.

The Harrington Hotel is a legend for being the best hotel value in downtown Washington, DC.   It is not fancy, just clean and comfortable.

The J. W. Marriott Hotel is the high end option and is next store to the National Press Club.  The hotel entrance is 100 feet from the entrance to the NPC. 

While the hotels near the National Press Club can be expensive, right now the market is soft and deals are available.  Listed below are discount hotel sties which may be helpful.  Also, consider bringing a friend and doubling up.
