You have an historic opportunity to add your monetary support to a grassroots effort to end official UFO secrecy. The direct-initiative process empowers voters to legislate statutory change (in this case an official proclamation to urge Congressional action). Your contributions and voluntarism over the next 12 months will make it possible to publicize the project , gather and file the necessary signatures, and defray administrative costs.

Even if you happen to reside outside the 16 direct-initiative states, you will still gain the satisfaction of knowing your donation will help your fellow citizens send a message "saying no to the UFO status quo."

Already in line to receive your support is MUFON State Director for Missouri, Bruce Widaman. He has volunteered to co-chair the first state Petition Drive Committee for the USBI project. What better kickoff point than the "Show Me State"? Your support will help Bruce and other state committees demonstrate what our voice at the ballot box can do in 2000 -- the Year of UFO Awareness.
