"Our Republic and its press will rise or fall together. An able, disinterested, public-spirited press, with trained intelligence to know the right and courage to do it, can preserve that public virtue without which popular government is a sham and a mockery. A cynical, mercenary, demagogic press will produce in time a people as base as itself. The power to mould the future of the Republic will be in the hands of the journalists of future generations."  Joseph Pulitzer

New York Times, Times of London, Washington Post, Washington Times, New York Daily News, New York Observer, New York Magazine, Chicago Tribune, New Republic, Huffington Post, Vanity Fair, Mother Jones Magazine, Politico, etc, etc, etc.

How many major print publications have to cover the Clinton/ET connection before network and cable news cover this story?

How many articles have to be written before the network and cable news debate moderators ask candidate Clinton about her ET connection?

How many times does Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta have to bring up the ET subject before network and cable news producers get the message?

How many times do Secretary Clinton or President Clinton have to arrange to be asked about the ET issue by comedy talk show hosts before network and cable news host follow up?

There is an important election weeks away. What are the cable and network news producers thinking? What are they afraid of?

What's going on here?
