MUFON is the most recognized organization in the world addressing the ET/UFO issues. It has always had the potential to have historical impact. But to do that MUFON must take the next step. The following information is relevant to this request:
1) Non-profit [501(c)(3)] charities are allowed under the law to lobby any parts of the U.S. Government about policy, law and issues. There are two simple restrictions: the amount of funds used for lobbying purposes is limited to a certain
percentage of the organization's revenues and lobbying activities must have
separate accounting.
2) There is no limit on what a 501(c)(3) organization can spend on education efforts targeting the public about any and all issues. Of course, all politicians and government officials are part of the public.
3) AARP is a 501(c)(3) organization. It is 58 years old. MUFON is 47 years old. AARP has 38 millions members. Revenues for 2014 were 1.5 billion dollars. One of the chief reasons people join AARP? It lobbies the government on behalf of senior citizens.
4) The National Rifle Association (NRA) is a 501(c)(3) organization. It has 5 million members. Revenues for 2013 were 348 million dollars. One of the chief reasons people join the NRA? It lobbies the government on behalf of gun owners.
MUFON is recognized world wide regarding an issue of extraordinary importance. If MUFON were to immediately initiate a membership drive that clearly states MUFON is going to lobby the government on behalf of those wanting to know the full truth regarding the ET/UFO issues, PRG believes MUFON's membership will increase by tens of thousand within months.
MUFON would then have the resources to impact history at the highest level.
PRG calls upon all current MUFON members who concur with this request to approach the national board of directors and encourage this step be made as soon as possible.

Also, with respect to MUFON's potential educating power, MUFON has recently launched
MUFON TV. PRG encourages all members to support this new, important part of MUFON's transition to becoming a change agent.
Disclosure, the end of the truth embargo, needs MUFON to take this next step. A great deal depends on this decision.
