I guess I'm not against U.F.O. disclosure... but it just seems to me that if this is something that would take up any time, there are a lot more critical things to be dealing with right now. I don't see why we shouldn't know about these things. It's all part of transparency. I just wouldn't pick this as one of my battles.

Jonny, those are some good points. What you fail to see however, is how the UFO issue relates to the problems that we have. Undoubtedly, technology exists within compartmented and classified areas of the black projects that could radically change the current power structure we rely on today. With this change would come significantly lower costs for energy and allow us to get off of not only Mid-East oil, but fossil fuels altogether. THAT is the real reason we need UFO disclosure.

The truth is that UFOs are unidentified flying objects -- they are not from other planets or universes. If a bird flies overhead and I cannot identify the species it does not mean it is a new species it just means it is unidentified. Get it?

Please look at all the sightings that can not be debunked. There are to many things about this subject to not vote yes on. Yes most people know what ufo stands for and we all should have the right to know if some are from earth or beyond.

NASA (or at least those at NASA knowledgeable of the real history of E.T. visits to our space missions) should also reveal all they have learned in orbit, on the moon, and on mars. For a good start, please read the book Dark Mission, which reveals decades of covered-up information, photos altered, and signs of life on mars ignored. Ken Johnson, a well known NASA employee for 35 years, (who totally endorses this book, which led to his dismissal from NASA last year), and authors Richard C. Hoagland and Mike Bara gave a press conference in 08', at the National Press Club in Washington DC, where none of the American press showed up, however, a large entourage of the Russian press were there. Was the absence of the entire American press just an oversight on their part, by not covering one of America's favorite topics, or is this another example of part of our government controlling our media? How about a real 'free press'.

Please Mr. Obama, lead the world in being 'adult' about the entire UFO/extraterrestrial situation ... you have the power to force those 'in the know' (including NASA and the 'shadowy' organizations with whom aliens have been interacting for so long) to let the rest of us in on what exactly is going on.
These revelations can only lead to more spiritual and co-operative human relationships. It should not be something hidden away, but something wonderful, to be celebrated by all.

Since 2003, from the Panhandle to Arkansas, down through Central Texas, to Houston, Bryan, and Huntsville, I have watched the nightly VTOL (vertical take-offs and landing) ascents and descents of craft, which travel horizontally and usually without sound. These are disguised with the red & blue flashing lights of normal aircraft once aloft, as well as are often equipped with LARGE light to -appear to be- stars. Why are cities all around Texas being surrounded by these aloft 'monitors'? People can and will deal with the truth, but the lies and illusions must STOP.

Oh, for gods' sake. Have none of you noticed that we have a couple of wars, a sinking world economy, a trampled Constitution, rampant poverty and crime, crumbling infrastructure, global climate change, a failing education system, prejudice and discrimination, surging corporatacracy, global terrorism, international political unrest, and a host more intractable problems?
Do you think the space brothers are going to wave their magic vril wands and make all our boo-boos better? Do you think that, if the government had knowledge and control of miraculous technologies, that they would *not* already be using them?
Maybe we should demand rainbows and unicorns for everybody, while we're at it.
Enough with the childish, woo-woo, crack-pot fantasies. Maybe there *are* aliens cruising our skies. I've seen UFOs, too, and stranger things besides. But the government is not a conspiracy, there are no hidden alien-tech treasures at Area 51, and the magic space brothers are not going to saves our asses--that's up to us.

Steven needs to get REAL! Too many reports have been filed by responsible citizens concerning U.F.O. ENCOUNTERS, not to mention sightings. While the Nations security is paramount, we, as American Citizens have a right to know why our tax dollars are being spent on Black Ops Projects. Other countries have partially disclosed the actual existence of ETs and their dealings with them. America should be the leader in FULL DISCLOSURE! By this one action many jobs would be created in the progression of the events sure to follow!

Perhaps we could adapt some new technology from another planet that would give a shot in the arm to the production we Americans have given away to other countries who are willing to work hard. Perhaps we can start a new era of producing things instead of just borrowing and buying what the rest of the countries on Earth produce. I have been getting photos of UFO's daily and nightly for almost two years. Millions of people around the world have photos and videos. We have the evidence. A government bent on pretending to be blind while robbing us of the knowledge and technology available while robbing us of the money we spent for this knowledge & tech is obsolete, and irrelevant.
I have first hand knowledge that the Air Force has been deploying men and equipment into the field for at least 40 years with sole purpose of tracking the many UFO's in our skies.
