Please ask your Transition Chief John Podesta to arrange a formal briefing from the military and intelligence agencies on the subject of UFOs and the extraterrestrial presence. Other presidents have promised disclosure to the American public, and I sincerely hope that you will finally provide this badly needed information to the public.I have been researching the subject of ET visitation and UFOs since 1995, and there is an abundance of evidence that we have been visited on numerous occasions. The Air Force has continued to claim otherwise, and this is an insult to hundreds of thousands of American citizens. According to a Gallop pole, over 80% of the adults in the USA believe that the government has been withholding the truth about UFOs. It is time to end the Truth Embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence and release as much relevant information to the American people as possible. Please support convening congressional hearings to take testimony from scores of former military and agency employees regarding extraterrestrial phenomena. Please release into the public domain extraterrestrial derived technologies that have been secretly studied and reverse engineered for six decades, and that are now essential to overcome the environmental, economic and social challenges of our time.

As a Ph.D scientist, I am positive that Americans are awake enough to understand that there is apt to be other life out there. The attempt to keep the public in the dark simply creates distrust of the government.

I had a friend from JPL tell me UFOs were real in 1990, and they say we known since the 1940s?
I can understand some secrecy during the cold war, until our technology developed, but were not living in Orson Wells 1930s, and people are not going to go crazy, if presented truthful information in a factual way.
And maybe you can get JPL to stop color adjusting Mar's atmosphere while they are it.

I voted Obama because I thought he had the courage to do something like this...the FIRST president to do so. Wow. That'll go down in history! This truly is the most important issue. If the world is going to encounter a horrible disaster, I want to be "friends" with these ETs. Others have a right to know that we have brothers out there. I just want to add that I feel...I guess I could say over joyed to see so many believers. So many that already know the truth or refuse to give up the fight for it. I really don't know anyone personally like myself, like everyone that's voting. I wish I did. But just to see how many people are voting makes me feel like I'm not alone. It makes me feel like there is some hope for this world. Thank you for everyone that is voting, especially those who don't really fully believe in ufos and other beings. Since 2003, from the Panhandle to Arkansas, down through Central Texas, to Houston, Bryan, and Huntsville, I have watched the nightly VTOL (vertical take-offs and landing) ascents and descents of craft, which travel horizontally and usually without sound. These are disguised with the red & blue flashing lights of normal aircraft once aloft, as well as are often equipped with LARGE light to -appear to be- stars. Why are cities all around Texas being surrounded by these aloft 'monitors'? People can and will deal with the truth, but the lies and illusions must STOP.

The United States government's reputation is almost past the point of reprieve. For many, this government has obviated itself with regard to the phenomena of contact.
The window for this government to redeem itself to the citizens of the world is quickly passing.
For those who have been threatened, tortured, or killed, or those whom have had their friends, or members of their family threatened, or killed, for sharing what they know about this phenomena, the flag waving has ended.
The phenomena of contact is serious - these folks have had their lives, or their loved one's lives destroyed because of it; either by paid harassment, or through traumatic (often military induced) contact experiences.
Despite the fact of these injustices, many are willing to move on if official disclosure can occur - because this would mean that their suffering was not in vain.
This is not a political issue as much as a humanitarian issue.

The American people deserve to know the truth. Most Americans believe that the federal government knows a lot more than they are saying. This issue has gone on far too long and is one of the greatest crimes against humanity ever committed. Full disclosure would shake things up worldwide and make much of the petty issues that we deal with every day totally pointless. Would there be serious upheaval in the day to day actions of our species? Absolutely. But the time for that upheaval and awakening is just what is needed. Our world needs a serious kick in the butt to progress into a better race. Its time for the governments of this planet to admit that they have been lying to us and take responsibility for their actions. The good that will come of this will far outweigh the bad. There will be social unrest and the transition will not be an easy one, but it needs to take place now. President Obama, as the leader of the greatest nation on the planet, you must bring this issue into the light so that the rest of the world can join us in what will most certainly be the most important event that has ever taken place in the history of the human race. The people don't want to be "protected" anymore. We want, no demand, the proof. Good or bad, the time for full disclosure rests firmly on your shoulders. I have faith that you may be the one who will finally put an end to one of the greatest charades ever forced on the people of the planet Earth. We who sign this request are not demented or delusional. Many of us have spent countless hours researching this issue and the only conclusion, faced with insurmountable evidence, is that we have been lied too. Buck up, face the facts, and insist that this veil be lifted once and for all.

How important is this issue? On the surface, it may not seem important at all what with the trillions of dollars in debt, 81% housing forclosures, high unemployment rates, environmental poisoning, global food shortages... But looking outside of the box and if you buy into the existence of other beings who seem to have technology much more advanced than ours, it might do us worlds of good to combine minds and share information to help save the universes and not just our planet. I believe that the destruction of our planet affects all others and we could use some other worldly (if not divine) intervention in order to survive. Is transparency in this area necessary? Transparency in all areas is not only necessary but essential to go forward and prosper as a race. Humans want the truth and YES WE CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH.

Congratulations Mr. President.To have been elected to the highest office in our government is a huge achievement, and the global community appears to agree with the voters. Please remember that with great power comes great responsibility. We the citizens know that the military/industrial complex swing a lot of weight. I do not envy your job in dealing with the coming future along with the baggage that 2012 will bring. The 2012 information/disinformation has opened a lot of citizen's eyes, to research other areas also and we know those of you in power are aware of this...Our eyes are opening and we need any truths that will not compromise our national security. Farraday, Tesla... they opened "Pandora's Box" and the technologies generated are quite advanced by now, I'm sure. For me, the proof is there for all to see, and I wonder how much is "ours" and how much is "ET's". We realize technology can destroy the earth very easily by thermonuclear war. Quickly. Living on the edge as we have for so many years has conditioned us to look at the bigger picture outside our daily lives. These views are usually fearful. That is the sad part, that we live in fear.
Please use this opportunity to disclose and please use the strength of the office of President of the United States to constructively deal with the mil/ind complex to enlighten the citizens. With the inside knowledge you "all" possess, people can handle the truth and you "all" can still hold the reigns. Albeit reins on a much more advanced society as a whole.
