On Saturday, December 27, Stephen Bassett, Executive Director of Paradigm Research Group, will review the disclosure events and issues of the past 10 years and answer questions from the Strange Days.....Indeed audience. Below is a chronological list of events which will likely be included in the discussion.
10/28/03	Just seven days after the Sci Fi Channel/CFI's second NPC press conference, a new liberal think tank headed by John Podesta, Center for American Progress.
11/21/03	The Sci Fi Channel and the Coalition for Freedom of Information hold a second press conference at the National Press Club announcing their intentions to file law suits to pressure the Department of Defense and National Aeronautics and Space Administration over documents pertaining to the 1965 Kecksburg, PA events. John Podesta again opens the press conference.
Oct '03	Numerous articles covering the opening of the Center for American Progress mention millions of dollars of financial backing from George Soros, thus placing the billionaire financier just one degree of separation from the issues of extraterrestrial related phenomena and disclosure.
9/17/03	President George W. Bush issues an order under Executive Order 12958 of April 17, 1995, as amended extending "Top Secret" classification authority to the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy.
9/16/03	President George W. Bush issues Presidential Determination No. 2003-39, which continues to "exempt the Air Force's operating location near Groom Lake, Nevada, from any Federal, State, interstate or local provision respecting control and abatement of solid waste or hazardous waste disposal that would require the disclosure of classified information concerning the operating location to any unauthorized person."
11/5/02	The Republican Party gains control of the House and Senate in the mid-term election.
11/5/02	A milestone is reached, when a candidate speaking directly to the reality of an extraterrestrial presence, appears on a November ballot in a federal election - Disclosure2003.
Nov '02	The main advertising campaign begins for a massive production, "Taken," from Steven Spielberg.
10/22/02	John Podesta, former key advisor and White House Chief of Staff during the Clinton Administration, presents at the SCI FI press conference as a principal in the retained public relations firm, PodestaMattoon.
10/22/02	The Sci Fi Channel, owned by multi-billion dollar, multinational Vivendi Universal, launches a set of disclosure advocacy initiatives with a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
Sept/Dec '01	The United States undergoes a significant transformation which extends to domestic and foreign posture as well as public demeanor.
11/01/01	President George W. Bush issues Executive Order 13233 significantly altering the Presidential Records Act and placing the disposition of Ronald Reagan's Presidential papers and George H. W. Bush's Vice Presidential papers under his control.
5/10/01 to 5/17/01	Disclosure Project website receives several hundred thousand log-ins. Other news entities indicate further coverage is pending.
5/9/01	The Disclosure Project holds a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC where the testimony of 75 witnesses, mostly former military and government agency employees, to UFO/ET evidence and events was presented to the national and international press.
7/6/00	On Coast to Coast AM, noted legal/social activist, Daniel Sheehan, and former Stanford Research Institute futurist, Alfred Webre, come forward with important personal testimony.
5/21/00	Leslie Kean, an accomplished freelance journalist, publishes in the Boston Globe an extended piece on the UFO/ET issue, focusing on the COMETA report soon to be published in the U.S. in English. The Globe is one the top ten dailies in America.
7/21/99	X-PPAC, the first political action committee in history targeting the politics of UFO/ET phenomena and the government cover-up is launched.
7/16/99	In France a study conducted by COMETA, former high ranking members of the French government, indicates high likelihood for the ET hypothesis.
3/30/98	Sarah McClendon, White House Correspondent to eleven Presidents, publishes, "Lid Coming Off Government Cover-up of UFOs" and "Pressure is Building for Congressional Hearings on UFOs."
1/5/98	Dr. Steven Greer states publicly he briefed sitting CIA Director James Woolsey for 3 hours on the UFO evidence.
1998	Francis Emma Barwood includes the UFO/ET issue in her Republican primary campaign for Arizona Secretary of State.
1998	Heather Ann Harder includes the UFO/ET issue in her Democratic primary campaign for President.
1997	Publication of Philip Corso’s The Day After Roswell.
1997	The movie, Contact, opens.
July '97	Major conference and media event is held in Roswell, NM. 17 nations send 200 journalists to cover the event.
April '97	CSETI holds a press and Congressional briefing at the Shorham Hotel in Washington, DC.
3/13/97	UFO sighting over Phoenix and the state of Arizona.
Jan '96	The Rockefeller initiative ends.
Aug '95	Harvard’s investigation of Dr. Mack closes without censure.
1994	Harvard’s "Special Faculty Committee" assesses Dr. John Mack’s work.
1994	Publication of Dr. John Mack’s "Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens."
1993	The Rockefeller initiative to persuade President Clinton to release UFO/ET related documents begins.
Nov '92	George H. W. Bush and the Republican Party lose the presidency to William Clinton.
